There is scientific evidence on how music is processed in the right hemisphere of the brain. With that in mind, many people make music a part of their daily life's, so what better way to go about your day, than to listen to music that brings good news to your ears!
Artist Kevin Aceituno is looking to do just that! 21 years old with a holy ambition, Kevin is now a part of the independent label, Gil Wayne's Digital Domain. Once living a life assimilated to the culture of street life, Kevin is now in complete submission to the will of God. With the help of producer Gilbert Mireles, founder of Digital Domain, Kevin looks to taking the good news to all the ends of the earth. With Gilbert having a broad understanding of music production, and Kevin cultivating his life in the love of God, they both look to reaching out to the world extensively along with other artist on the label.
Born in Galveston, Texas, on January 30th, of the year 1990, Kevin was the first male in his family born in the United States to start a generation raised in the U.S. His family comes from Guatemala, a small country that's roughly the size of Kentucky. As a child growing up, Kevin met his interest in music around the age of 12, by coming across the first album he had ever listened to, Z-Ro-King of the Ghetto. This was a hardcore album that displayed the life Kevin was gradually adjusting to, by becoming drawn into the culture of street life due to the condition of his environment. Kevin later thought to dig in deep to his aesthetic way of admiring music, and started writing lyrics for himself.
It became clear that music was his gift from God, and that this was the talent he was going to utilize to advance in life, in order to come out of the abyss he had fallen into by living a rebellious lifestyle. Overtime, Kevin slowly started to make progress in his development as an artist, by getting connected with other artists, and eventually started a group called, S.E.R., with the help of a childhood friend named Luis Guzman. But the time came when Kevin got to know the supreme-being that took a permanent place in the back of his mind for practically all of his lifeā¦God. For when Kevin wrote music, at times he displayed through lyrics the life he was living, but it wasn't parallel to the desires of his heart, and the intentions that he had.
So out of a divine appointment, God used a situation to call Kevin, and he obeyed. Kevin broke from the group he constituted with his childhood friends, and changed his life holistically in order to get to know God through his obedience. And now, Kevin wants to use his God given talent discovered long ago, to glorify God, and to help the world see God, through Jesus Christ.
