The Birth of an Independent Label

At this time the label is still in the works, although our artists are at work creating new music for their fans. We hope to have more information on the label as soon it is available. We are working hard to create a new concept for this label. We don't even have a name for it yet, it still is under the name; Gil Wayne's Digital Domain.

You would think that the studio and the label would be joined at the hip, but in reality the studio is still recording other people who are not a part of the label. This keeps some income coming in as we are structuring the label. There is a lot to be done putting together a label. We have to work out contracts, and procedures. We have to find out more information on publishing and copyrights. Yes there are many things we have to take into consideraton before we begin this endeavor.

 

What's in the Works

Our label intends on recording, promoting via social networking and distributing digital media of our signed artists! Soon you will find a distinct web page for each artist, with their bio's and profiles, along with song lyrics and artwork. Each artist will have their own social networking pages and you will hear about their tweets via Twitter. You will be able to follow them throughout their careers and buy their songs on iTunes, their webpage and other web sites. This is an exciting moment for us here at Gil Wayne's Digital Domain, so stay with us as we grow and make some waves in the music industry!
